The great plains are located at the base (bottom) of the sunset cliff. You can live here for awhile but food is hard to find at the base (bottom) of the cliff. There is a river without any fish or other wildlife in it. You can catch deer when they are another, but they leave to go to other places. This lack of food drives wolves up the cliff side to see what lies up there.
